Inglourious Basterds is a war film directed by Quentin Tarantino that is set and reimagines World War II through an alternative history. This film is the only one that can be compared on the same level as Pulp Fiction. Inglourious Basterds is a fantastic movie, that seems to have everything. The flim follows two parallel revenage plots: one a group of Jewish soliders called the “Basterds” who rain havec on Nazi Forces, the other is a Jewish woman plotting her revenge against the Nazi leaders. This movie uses mutplie lanuages, and the flim emphasizes suspense in dialouge incredibly well. Tarantino blends historical figures with fictional elements, giving it an alternate history. With the amazing plot, filming, and dialogue, the film really shines is in the acting. Chrispoh Waltz portraying the antagonist and giving one of the best acting performances of all time. Alongside Chrispoh Waltz is Brad Pitt, who is the leader of the Basterds, who is really good in every scene with excellent line delivery.

Death Proof vs Inglourious Basterds

Inglourious Basterds is much more expansive than Death Proof; the longer run time of Inglourious Basterds gives it more time to have a better plot. Inglourious Basterds is a chapter-based war film that also has historical fiction, which makes it seem a more complete film.

Death Proof, as said before, feels more like an experiment for Tarantino. It's a lot shorter, and the plot is just alright. It is intentionally small in terms of being a film. It does shine in the practical scenes and well-written dialogue.
